Flood Recovery Badge Scouts Australia
Scout Shop and Snowgum is proud to support the flood recovery effort for the NSW mid-coast area after the devastating 2025 floods.
$4 from every badge purchased from 12th June 2025 will now be channelled to the flood support effort in NEW SOUTH WALES. In previous years, sales of the badge have been used to support members across Victoria and Queensland.
The funds will be paid to New South Wales Branch and be used to fund the replacement of Scouting uniforms, books, badges and other personal equipment for Scouting families in flood affected areas.

The badge has been approved to be worn as a special event badge in New South Wales Branch, for a period of up to 12 months.
Natural disasters can be incredibly stressful, and floods are no different. For those in affected areas, right now, it’s important to concentrate on your physical and emotional safety. If you have been affected by the floods, and would like to submit an application for support, please speak to your District or Region Commissioner for more details on how to apply.
However you may be feeling, we encourage you to connect with your family, friends and community. For information and support during this time, consider reaching out to community organisations such as Headspace, Lifeline, Beyond Blue and Kids Helpline.
The badge has been approved to be worn as an event badge in New South Wales Branch, Queensland Branch & Victorian Branch, in other Branches it is to be treated as a blanket badge. We will update this notification as other Branches approve it for uniform.
