Vigloo 4 Person Tent

The Snowgum Vigloo is our only 'car camping' tent. Too heavy to carry in a backpack, but a perfect go-to tent for a standing camp: spacious, sturdy, and very quick to erect. Luxuriously roomy for two adults on stretchers and big enough for four 600mm camp mats, the Vigloo is bigger than most two-hoop 4 person dome tents available.

But wait, it gets better: you can stand up in it (for moving around/getting changed/star jumps), it has two entrances and one spacious vestibule (for your gear/stove/dog), is extremely well ventilated (with large windows and a mesh upper interior), and is designed for easy set up. The Vigloo is symmetrical with interchangeable poles, and one pre-bent, bright orange, externally clipped pole for the vestibule. Trust us: this tent will not give you set-up anxiety.

PS. In windy conditions, using provided guy ropes and attaching the poles to the fly with the velcro tabs is an absolute MUST! All guy points must be used to provide maximum support. If you find the pegs are pulling out you need to solve that problem because this tent will not cope in heavy winds unless the guys are correctly pegged out. Even then, as this is a fibreglass pole lightweight dome tent, it will struggle if wind gusts exceed 40km.
