Dialogue for Peace badge

This achievement badge may only be purchased by an Adult Leader or Authorised Unit Representative.

The Dialogue for Peace program is a worldwide Scouting initiative to foster better dialogue between us all to better understand and accept our diverse cultures and religions globally.

Scouts can be empowered with the skills to participate in the conversations and contribute to decision making.

This badge may be earned and worn on the uniform.

The badge is 6cm wide

To earn these badges, you need to have completed a Dialogue for Peace project. These badges are the ones presented to those who have participated in the programs facilitated by Dialogue for Peace trainers.

Dialogue for Peace is one of the initiatives in the "Peace" element of the Better World Framework, delivered in partnership with the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligous and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID). This initiative is largely focussed on the tools required for the promotion and practice of effective dialogue and understanding across cultures.

Youth and adults can wear it on the right sleeve of the uniform, but as the program hasn't officially been launched in Scouts Australia, this badge is restricted from purchase until the first official trainings and programs commence.
